Baby Sandals:
This past week, I made my first successful pair of baby sandals. After that, I made a couple more, using a youtube tutorial. Mom also made a pair. These are turning out to be fun. There is a lot of room for creativity making baby sandals.
Here is my first successful pair. They are size 9 to 12 months size.
And here they are packaged up and ready to go to their recipient. The little pieces of tissue paper were used to protect the sandals and hopefully help them keep their shape. I used a page form an old calendar to make a decorative cover for the box.
These are the next two booties that I made. They are newborn size. The ones on the left are dark green and lilac and the flowers are centered with some pretty buttons I had on hand. The ones on the right are lilac and a dark yellow. The label for the yellow yarn was gone, so I called it corn colored. :-) They are also newborn size.
For the newborn size booties/sandals, I used the video tutorial below. This lady's tutorials are simple and easy to follow.
The sandals Mom made are really pretty. She used a written pattern. It took her a few tries to figure out the toe straps, but she finally got them. These are also 9 to 12 month size.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed your visit and will come back again.
